This is one of my largest sculptures to date. It is visual representation of the idea or meme created by Knut Svanholm- that the potential of Bitcoin can be understood as "Everything divided by 21 Million."  To delve deeper into this idea, I highly suggest reading Knut's book.

“Everything there is” presents a three dimensional conception of Knut’s well known fraction. A vertically aligned infinity symbol carved from a solid block of Colorado yule marble, forms the numerator. The vinculum, or dividing line, is fashioned from reclaimed slate, and the denominator is made from a solid block of Carrara marble. The denominator also forms the solid base of the sculpture with “21,000,000” hand carved on the face and adorned with 24k gold leaf. All three pieces are secured to one another with a stainless steel pin.

I hope this statement piece ends up with a collector who values and understands the labor and time a sculpture like this takes to craft. Part of the reason I love working in stone is that I am able to create generational artwork that will last for years to come.
