A framed mixed media piece created with the idea of Inflation in mind, and how Bitcoin is an escape from it. The piece uses cut up album covers, markers, pen, and paint to create a chaotic and textured piece. For instance, the Purple Pepe with the American-ish hat and TV with the football game on it, has been derived from Prince's "Purple Rain" 7" artwork. The giant inflatable people are derived from the inflatables you may find at a car dealership and some of the other charachters are pieced together to be bigger and faker than life. I wanted to take the subject matter and just have fun with the absurdities of it all.
