Rare FractalEncrypt Trifecta Set

This auction is for a complete set of 3 items:

• Custom FractalEncrypt Book cover (This is #2 of 2)
• Museum Quality Canvas print of the Bitcoin Full Node Sculpture blueprint/schematic. 84” x 40” (this is number 1 of a limited set of 21 canvases released for Bitcoin 2022)
• Book – “Decoding The Bitcoin Full Node Sculpture” by FractalEncrypt (this edition of the book is Number 2 of 2. (Number 1 of 2 is owned by Ricardo Salinas Pliego)

This is a special and unique set, created as an Artist Proof while working on The Bitcoin Full Node Sculpture #10. It brings together three critical pieces of the Full Node Sculpture so you can immerse yourself in the details. It’s low time preference art created to be enjoyed slowly, over centuries and generations. This special set will be yours. The extra-large canvas print will feature prominently in any room you display it. You’ll also have the book that explains all the rich hidden and encoded details in a one-of-a-kind custom-made book cover. With the optional display stand and the case for the book cover, it creates a majestic display fit for a Bitcoin Citadel.

The book is a special edition of only 2, and it has pictures of all the node sculptures I’ve made to date, numbers 1 through 9. Many photos in the book are unpublished and have never been seen before. There are 82 pages of high-quality photos and descriptions directly from the artist. While I plan to make books for all 10 of the node sculpture owners once the series of 10 node sculptures are completed, theirs will be a different edition of the book, and their custom-cut FractalEncrypt covers will also be different, making this set extremely rare.

The book cover came about as a matter of serendipity, and would not exist at all, if not for a series of random and strange events. The story is too wild and strange to tell here, but the path to actualizing this artwork has been a magical combination of all that it is to be human. The book cover is a step on the path of this journey and it’s an honor and a pleasure to have the opportunity to create.

The book cover contains a “block-time ruler” that counts from the Genesis Block 0 all the way to block 7,000,000. It charts the years from 2009 to 2140 (larger squares); and the tiny squares track difficulty adjustments over time (each square represents 10 difficulty adjustments, with approximately 26 each year).

The teeth on the gears are bitcoin-related numbers, creating the circles within circles of bitcoin-time. You’ll find gears with 8, 18, and 21 teeth. The center contains all the equations in Satoshi’s White Paper surrounded by the data from the Genesis Block (Block Hash, Scrip Pub, Merkle Root, and the first-ever bitcoin address, the Genesis Address).

The gearing was created to be fully functional, but as this was my first time with working gearing, I wasn’t able to achieve gear motion yet. This is part of the process of making these pieces, so I can build my craft and skills. The book cover for this auction is not the item pictured. Pictured is the book made for Ricardo Salinas Pliego. Your book will be made with the same exact wood, and look (almost) identical. Items will be shipped within 3 weeks. If you’d like different color wood, mirror, a special engraving, or the node pointer set to a different number, all this is possible.

For the canvas print, you have the option to receive the canvas “gallery wrapped” on stretcher bars so it comes ready to hang, or I can ship it as a rolled canvas if you’d prefer.
