Strom is a multimedia artist who depicts current-events. She focuses on documenting major Bitcoin happenings using collectables, bits of her lace clothing, cheesecloth, silk, polymer medium, transparencies of Bitcoin news, tweets, and memorabilia. She builds layers that are sometimes so thick she must use an electric saw to cut through them.
Her creativity and spirit inspired nine different foundations and organizations, including Meyer Memorial, and Ford Foundation to award her fellowships. Sal has been awarded art residencies twenty two times and been included in five museum shows, including the Frye Museum , Seattle, WA and Provincetown Art Museum MA.
Strom has pursued numerous emphases within her career, collecting WWII stories transforming them into short experimental videos which have been shown in international film festivals, Implemented Arts in Romanian Orphanages, and Connecting US20 was a traveling art events in libraries.
Sal studied Renaissance drawing/painting at the Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy and later received her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art.
