In collaboration with the Evening Standard, Trevor Jones painted "The Oath" to celebrate the King’s coronation. The painting on canvas, infused with augmented reality tech and animation, depicts St. Edward’s Crown, the most significant artifact of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. Crafted from solid gold and adorned with 444 precious and semi-precious stones, this crown has been a symbol of coronation since 1661 and was used once more in last year's ceremony on May 6th, 2023.

The painting can also serve as a metaphor for Bitcoin, the sovereign of blockchains and the pioneer of the crypto revolution and financial independence. Just as St. Edward’s Crown symbolizes the enduring sovereignty and tradition of the British monarchy, Bitcoin represents the original and 'King' of cryptocurrencies, heralding a new era of decentralized finance and digital autonomy. Both stand as iconic symbols in their respective realms, embodying the essence of leadership, legacy, and the transformative power of innovation.
