This is the djembe that Ross Ulbricht played in San Francisco before his arrest.

“Last time I played it was at a bonfire on Ocean Beach with my roommates and friends. That was a memory I carried with me during my time in prison.” – Ross

Although the djembe wasn't used after Ross's arrest, the goat skin head eventually tore during his decade-long incarceration, so it will need to be re-headed if you wish to play it.

This djembe was gifted to Ross by a friend, who had received it from his dad for his high school graduation.

Ross's former roommate in San Francisco and then his wife safeguarded this djembe during Ross’s incarceration.
