This version of Raphael's "Sistine Madonna" is made in oil on canvas. The universally recognized peak of the High Renaissance has become the space for the universally recognized meme - Pepe the frog.

Through the snow of clouds, with an inaudible step, the beautiful Virgo is approaching, floating. Her face is sad and thoughtful, and in the arms of Maria-Pepe is the baby Pepe. Their future is right in front of them.

What is the future of this meme? What future awaits all of us and the entire NTF sphere?

The most terrible and beautiful thing is that everything is in your and mine hands.

This is a secondary sale by the original buyer who won the auction here.

About The Artist

Pepelangelo is an artist from Russia who painted Pepe in a classical manner with oil on canvas from 2017. Small ceremonial portraits of Pepe the frog or huge canvases with many figures (of course, frogs too) - they are united by a love of classical painting, meticulousness and attention to detail, following the technique of the Old Masters as much as possible.

It takes from 6 weeks or more to create one painting.

Unfortunately, Pepelangelo did not have exhibitions, since almost all of her works were painted to order and immediately went into the hands of their owners.

The lot Includes:

Oil on canvas

Special edition OPENDIME

(Optional hardware device for holding Rare Pepe tokens)
