Browsing through an old thrift store magazine from the early 80s, I came to the realization that throughout history, there has always been a theme of the government making a series of absolute dogshit decisions that have a long lasting negative effect on generations to come.

One thing does lead to another. Your actions, your choices, and the way you behave in society has a long lasting effect on those succeeding you, and those who succeed them.

Who are we to grant one sole power the authority to dictate every aspect of our lives?

Checks and balances don’t work when everyone is acting in their own best interest.
