"Under the Right Light, does something unthinkable - frames a fiat note and displays it at a Bitcoin gathering. However, there's more to this presentation than meets the eye.
When a lightning payment is sent to the piece, it triggers the activation of UV lights, unveiling the stark truth hidden within the fiat. Thanks to the power of Bitcoin, viewers can witness the genuine narrative of fiat as it reveals its true essence.
Through the use of UV-activated inks, this unique piece exhibits images of a bloated 50 euro bill, a money printer, Christine Lagarde, and warnings about CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency). Additionally, a powerful poem with a rallying cry graces the artwork. Encircling the notes, you'll find the mantra 'The price of tomorrow is not the price of today' inscribed in ten European languages.
The creation of the 50 euro note was a collaborative effort with a currency security design expert. Starting from scratch, an in-depth analysis enabled the meticulous isolation of intaglio and offset layers, followed by a digital reconstruction process that layered prints to craft the intricate final design. It is printed on archival-grade paper, ensuring its enduring quality.
The lightning payment feature can be experienced at the Bitcoin conference, and when you acquire this piece, it will come with the artwork, UV frame, and a power cable. Detailed instructions for setting up the lightning switch will be provided to collectors after the conference. All lightning payments receieved at the conference will be donated to Bitcoin development.
