Melih Polat, in his work called SCHIZOPEPE, completely decoupled it from time and space and reinterpreted it with a silly but so cute expression on its face, by reuniting it with his own understanding of composition and deformation.


The Artist:
Melih Polat is a contemporary artist who produces works in different disciplines such as painting, sculpture, ceramic, printing and nft.
Melih Polat, a member of the new generation of contemporary artists, primarily uses images to present his work. The artist has created works in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking arts. He created works with a surreal perspective, which evolved into his final works. He creates his works by filtering the events in his daily life that affect him, through his own understanding of composition, and by positioning the objects that are key points in the scenes he works on in relation to the body parts he chooses to increase his expressiveness. In his later paintings, he preferred to give the leading role to the characters he created as a child, and reinterpreted them with the shape and forms he adopted, while staging the emotions and events that had already affected him in his surreal period. He is always excited to create works in various visual art disciplines because he enjoys the novelty of change.
More than 250 paintings that he completed during his adventure in Turkey have found their way into the private collections of new and experienced art collectors from all over the world, including England, America, France (Paris), Germany, and Israel.
