PEPEFONDLERS — Reduced Issuance — Proportional Split-Reward w/ IP Gamification
Celebrating 10 Years of RAREPEPE — The Card That Changed Everything
In September 2016, the first RAREPEPE token was issued on the Bitcoin blockchain — the card that launched the cryptoart collective revolution. Ten years later, we mark this milestone with a historic release: PEPEFONDLERS, Series 26 Card 9.
The Artist & Origin
PEPEFONDLERS is a collaborative work between two artists. halluciphile commissioned renowned digital artist Pepe Designer (now also known as Rare Designer), one of the best-known Rare Pepe creators from Venezuela. His work helped define the early cryptoart movement, with only a crude collage offered as the reference and concept behind the card.
The raw concept request lives on-chain as PEPEFONDLERS.raw, the tokenized version of the original brief. With the combined efforts of both artists, production credit is often given to PepeDust (pepedust.com).
Mint-In-Box — Never Before Distributed
All 19,888 PEPEFONDLERS have sat together, mint-in-box and undistributed, since the card was approved in July 2017. This auction marks their first-ever public release.
The Original Vision
PEPEFONDLERS was originally conceived as a team-function asset meant to appear across games — with the ambitious goal of being integrated into at least four different games before distribution would begin.
An alternative image version was submitted to Penisium but was not approved. During its stay in an Emblem Vault on OpenSea, the JSON metadata reflected this alternative image. Despite being tagged with the "Complete Issuance" rarity badge, the unique opportunity went unrecognized.
The Burn — 19,788 Destroyed
Before this auction opens, 19,788 PEPEFONDLERS have been permanently removed from distribution, reducing the total issuance from 19,888 to an easy-maths quantity of 100. Transaction hash: (note= I will supply just before going public, will accompany a memo with link forwarder to auction. I will burn/destroy in conjunction with the announcement of the auction)
Proportional Split-Reward Auction
This auction uses a proportional award mechanic:
│ Total Sales ÷ 100 = Value Per Card
│ Each winning bid receives a proportional share of the 100 PEPEFONDLERS based on their bid's ratio to total sales.
Example: If total sales = 0.4 BTC, each card = 0.004 BTC. A bid of 0.3 BTC (75% of sales) receives 75 cards. A bid of 0.1 BTC
(25%) receives 25 cards. All bidders pay their original bid amount.
🏆 The Gamification — Become the Third
There is a special condition attached to this auction:
│ If the top ten winning bid slots are filled by a single bidder (one person wins all 100 PEPEFONDLERS), that winner will also receive:
│ - Full Intellectual Property (reproduction rights) for PEPEFONDLERS image
│ - The Ownership Token for the card, with ability to make subassets
This is the only path to keep the entire issuance mint-in-box and the right buyer's opportunity to hold 100% of a Rare Pepe card.
Only two people in the world currently possess 100% issuance of a Rare Pepe token. This is your chance to become the third.
If the top ten slots are split among multiple bidders, PepeDust will retain the IP and Ownership Token for marketing and maintenance purposes, and each winning bidder will receive their proportional share of the 100 tokens.
Why PEPEFONDLERS?

- Historical significance: Released in conjunction with the 10-year anniversary of the original RAREPEPE
