Noor (gold). I have been drawn to Islamic geometry for most of my life. It's beautiful. Complex Meaningful. Balanced. Sacred. And a hundred other things. I decided to paint this piece in multiple shades of pearlescent golds. The pearlescent glows in amazing ways from different angles and lights and is a metaphor for stained glass. This was a very detailed piece. One of one original.
