The creation of Weimar Republic followed Russian revolution and October coup when Russian Civil War has started. Russian hyperinflation is less famous although Fergusson mentioned it in his "When money dies" book. However, it may be even more interesting for bitcoiner to know that early years of Soviet Russia are classical example of money printing hyperinflation. Budget deficit was financed by issuance of new paper notes. Similarly to Venezuela, it is fairly hard to build hyperinflation plot for Rubles as regime change happened meanwhile. Russia wages bloody war now and who knows may be total destruction of society has begun exactly at that times?
