Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the "The Fairest One of All?"
Bitcoin.
The original idea was an homage to the Lightning Network, but this quickly became so much more.
This work is a tribute to the Lightning Network, HODLers, miners, diamond hands, oppressed nations, Bitcoin Twitter, and plebs everywhere willing to stand up for their sovereignty.
The work is intended to capture this moment in time and tell a story for future generations.
Made of premium Walnut and beautifully carved in Boulder County, Colorado. This is the natural color of the wood (no stain!). Hundreds of hours went into this work. I finished it with a high-end, plant-based, hand-rubbed oil with hardeners for durability. The mirror is high-quality, 1/4" thick, and procured from a specialty glass company.
24K triple gold leaf provides excellent highlights. The piece almost seems electric in low light as the gold leaf reflects the light to your eyes. I love it.

The overall piece is LARGE and will make a bold statement in almost any space. Hanging hardware is included and recessed into the frame for a perfectly flush fit against the wall.
The back of the piece is engraved with:
1. Satoshi's genesis quote:

2. A tweet from Elizabeth Stark in 2014 heralding the eventual rise of the Lightning Network.

The Lightning Network provides a critical path for Bitcoin's destiny to be fulfilled, and I have always found this quote from Ms. Stark to be incredibly inspiring.
3. A credit to @ODELL for the message used on the front of the piece, "Stay Humble. Stack Sats."
Twitter has played an important role for so many Bitcoiners, myself included, and this quote from Odell provides a steady yet powerful voice in a sea of madness.
