This board was inspired by my love of comics and classic pop art. In particular my esteem for the great Roy Lichtenstein…one of the pioneers of Pop Art in the 20th Century. Lichtenstein’s work has become a pure and real ‘store of value’...just like Bitcoin. This beautiful Island girl is dreaming of Pepe. I have known of Pepe for many years but only until recently did I become aware that there is a whole world of artists who create ‘Pepe art’. With that inspiration in hand, I could not resist, and created this wonderful little piece.
Painted with pearlescents and glazes throughout.
Signed and numbered by Todd Gray on front and back. This skateboard is a very small limited edition of 5. Top bidder wins Edition #1 and the option for free pickup onsite after the conference. Must pickup artwork within 1 hour of auction close.
