In “Cypherpunks evolution” - Triumphant Bitcoin is the final reading of the white paper, moments before transformation. And the inevitable denial of the current monetary system.

Stunned and laser eyed Cypherpunks break pizza symbolically to commemorate the first purchase ever made in Bitcoin. Artifacts such as old cell phones, VHS tapes, headphones, litter the table tying its historical past to the current future. Colorful costumes link Cypherpunks scale and variety spread across the planet today. Characters express themselves as free and beautiful while restricting cultural constraints. Curtains set the stage while digital nodes connect Cypherpunks into a floating holographic table leading into a background of cyberspace. Denial exposed in gold finds its way into awaking and feebly walks away as failed progress. Finally, Cypherpunk center is all of us, faceless, holding a physical Bitcoin linking the real world of the past. Once finished reading contents of the white paper a transformational moment arrives a fourth digital turning allowing Bitcoiners to reap the rewards of a digital pizza floating in the sky.

There are a lot of philosophical discussions on the nature of Bitcoin as a source of value and currency for exchange. Looking at the artwork made and memes on the internet lead me into creating a painting rooted in history. I chose the Last Supper for its symbolic and cultural message which I see being used in a multitude of expressions today. From my research many of the leaders who seeded roots for Bitcoin have had homage expressed to their history in many ways. So, I decided to alter and shift into the unknown faces currently supporting Bitcoin, Cypherpunks is everyone willing to voice what Bitcoin represents for the world. We are all Hodlr’s and we all deserve homage.
