This is an official print release of the famous running photograph of Hal Finney. The prints were created by Hal’s wife Fran, who also captured the photo in 1982.
From Fran -
“I was pregnant with Jason. Hal was running in a road race. I matched his stride, using a cheap single focus film camera. I needed to match his stride so that he would not be a total blur. He thought I was crazy - that was why he grinned at me like that. “
The prints are a limited edition of 100 signed by Fran. They ship unframed on high quality Hahnemühle 310 Photo Rag Satin paper.
The starting price of the print increases 10,000 sats with each purchase. The buyer who pays the most receives edition #1, the buyer who pays the 2nd highest amount receives edition #2 and so on. Buyers have the option of paying more than their invoice amount to receive a lower edition number (only possible when paying onchain, not Lightning).
All proceeds will go to the Golden West Chapter of The ALS Association, who helped Hal during his time of need. This auction is part of our annual #RunningBitcoinChallenge which encourages donations in honor of Hal Finney. Learn more at runningbitcoin.us
