This artwork is titled "Burden of Power", inspired by Atlas the Titan—also the name of my own son. It represents the idea of bearing the weight of the modern world, a world overflowing with money. The Roman Colosseum is included to emphasize historic statues and architecture, symbolizing how economies and grand arenas have crumbled due to factors like inflation. Each continent on the globe features a fractured security element from the U.S. $100 bill—such as the eagle, feather, or bell tower—signifying its devaluation as money rains down across the world. This piece is meant to portray strength in the face of inflationary times, and the enduring belief that, like Atlas, we will always prevail.
