Buyers may purchase full-coverage shipping insurance for an additional 2.5% of the item price. Insurance protects against the item being lost or damaged in transit.
If insurance is purchased, Scarce City will cover:
• the cost of professional repair if the item can be restored,
• a replacement item if one can be created or obtained, or
• a full refund if neither repair nor replacement is possible.
If insurance is not purchased, the buyer accepts full responsibility for any loss or damage that occurs during transit.
Additionally, state sales tax is added to the buyer's final balance.
