Proof of Keys #1/21 is from my recent artwork composed of used bank deposit box keys and bank key fobs/rings. It is a signed and numbered Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm print shipping unframed. The remaining Proof of Keys prints have sold out.
Included with the print is a used bank deposit box key and fob left over from the original artwork’s creation.
About the artwork:
Proof of Keys is composed of 304 used bank deposit box keys and dozens of bank key fobs. The keys for the piece were sourced from bank foreclosures and the fobs were found online and at swap meets. Some of the keys were spray painted. Others were treated w/ salt, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide to enhance their rust and patina. To form the B symbol, many were cut with a scroll saw, tin snips and grinder.
