PEPESONIC - PORTAL 01 is a handcrafted audiovisual sculpture by SKIFE. Conceived as a “ritual engine,” this interactive object continuously loops a curated sequence of original moving-image artworks on a circular screen embedded within an English Sycamore and brass housing, anchored to a reclaimed clay-brick base.

Three Screen settings: DARKAF / DIMAF / BRIGHTAF
Volume level maxes out at level 69.

Drawing from frogs, early cinema, internet folklore, and speculative nostalgia, the piece blends Fakea materiality with digital impermanence. On the rear of the portal, a discreet brass button triggers a hidden “guestlist” sequence — a set of rare or unreleased films by Skife and Friends that play once before seamlessly returning to the primary loop. No visible interface. No menu. No explanation.

The work embodies a collision of lo-fi futurism and devotional meme. It is not a product. It is an irreverence portal.

Previously tokenised pieces included in the portal will be held in a portal wallet by Skife.
