'Love is Immortal' by Ariel Birdie is a one of a Kind Copperplate etching, depicting a classic Angel holding their Bitcoin Heart.

'Love Is Immortal' Is an open edition set of copperplate etchings, the print is marked with only the title and the artists signature on the front below the image. The timestamp 928959 written on the back, records the time and day of the original pressing with the block height, this print here is one of the very first clearly printed.

Copperplate etching is one of the oldest printmaking techniques, it takes patience and skill and demands alot of time.

A copperplate is prepared and then painted with a "ground" to protect the copper. Next a scribing tool is used to make marks in the ground to expose the copper matching the design, finally the plate is set in an acid that "bites" the copper, making indentation in the plate itself. Once the plate is ready it is then inked and wiped before going through a printing press to create a print.

The Artists is undergoing an apprenticeship in copperplate etching, 'Love is Immortal' is the artists second plate attempt and it is rendered from an original drawing with a history in the scarce city auctions: "BITCOIN LOVE IS IMMORTAL"

This print is framed behind glass in a vintage plastic frame.

The print has been resized to 6.25 x 6.25 inches to fit the frame, and has been put together especially for BBB 2026!
