This piece is 12"x12" and painted on a board that is 2.125" thick. I literally gold leafed these pears in order to get that real-life gold shine. They are nested in the folds of a cool white cloth and contained inside a cardboard box. On top of the cloth are 11 different antique keys. All the sides of the thick board are painted as if they are an actual cardboard box. The twelfth key is painted to look like it's taped to the left side of the board. This key is my late father-in-law's railroad key so it has extra meaning. The right side has a painted piece of tape with my signature on it and both top and bottom have the torn black Amazon tape.
